I Realized My Soul Purpose is the Dream I've Been Carrying For a Lifetime

It was the night I quit my corporate job of over 13 years. Sweeping my foyer floor, a troubling thought surfaced, a gut punch... "Wow... I'm unemployed."
But I've learned this: in some cases, no matter how tough it feels, some doors MUST close for others to finally open.
But let's rewind for a moment. For decades, a fire had been burning within me – the dream of building something of my own. As a child, I remember at an elementary school garage sale, I meticulously priced my items & took inventory, absolutely loving the process. 😉 🎉
Soon after I asked my dad for a real cash register for my birthday. And it had to be real - none of that fake stuff. I ran a pretend bookstore for quite some time, where my parents were my most patient, repeat customers. Thanks mom & dad 😘 🙏
So, back to that "unemployed" thought. The reality of leaving my long-term career role finally settled in.
Within seconds of that "unemployed" gut punch thought, a genuine grin spread across my face. I reminded myself why I left. And the thought that followed wasn't one of despair, but of exhilarating possibility:
"No... I am self-employed."
In that instant, I was flooded with empowerment and a thrilling excitement to finally pursue the dream that had lived in my heart for so long – a dream I now recognize was also His dream for me. I could feel His gentle nudges throughout my career, each step leading & preparing me for this moment.
From this, I hope you take away these 2 things:
1. That persistent dream residing in your heart, that vision you can't quite shake, is very likely your divine calling. Do not push it to the side - Do not talk yourself out of it - Embrace it!
Pro Wrestler, CM Punk very recently said it best: If your dream doesn't scare you - it isn't big enough.
2. What you think - is what you are. If I stayed in the "unemployed" thought stream.. it would have led me to despair & probably feeling like I need to find another job. Changing the narrative in our minds impacts how we feel & that narrative decides the next move we take. Silence the inner critic and focus on taking that first step, then the next. Your dream unfolds one step at a time. 🙏 🙌
After all, God poured so much intention and love into crafting your very being. He not only knows your heart - he crafted it! Your dream - is His dream for you. 🎉

So, if that inner prompting is there, that yearning for something more... please, take that step. Go for it! Your heart knows the way. ⭐
P.S. I took this pic to remember the day I had my very first discovery call with a client. Helping people on the soul level... yup - I'm right where I need to be. If you're ready to explore your soul's calling or to find more meaning/purpose in your days, let’s connect! 🙏 🥂 🎉 🙌
