Don't let your demanding career be your only focus. Your career is important, absolutely, but it's not more important than your well-being. Too often, we let the pressure build, we allow the weight to become crushing. Finding joy beyond your career is crucial for a balanced life.
Relieve that pressure by intentionally connecting with your passions (especially if it's Finding Balance in life includes nurturing and developing your God given talents. You can't let these talents go to waste. Your soul needs it & you will find a peace & humility by growing these skills. something outside of your career). God has gifted you with unique talents. Spending time on them isn't a luxury; it's essential for a full and balanced life.
It's striking how many of us light up when we talk about what we genuinely enjoy doing in our free time. But when I ask, "When was the last time you did that?" ... there's often a pause, a moment of reflection. And then, a void is usually uncovered.

For me, painting is a powerful way to connect with my spirit and experience a deep sense of fulfillment. It's a potent reminder that I am so much more than a job title. It's an expression of gratitude and a way to tap into a source of creativity that consistently renews my energy.
When we nurture our passions, the pressure dissipates. Fulfillment overflows, and then tackling those work goals becomes less stressful, feels more possible – and you'll likely crush it with renewed energy and perspective. ☀️
What brings you joy? What are you good at that you haven't touched in a while? I wholeheartedly encourage you to make it happen this week. It's a vital investment in your well-being and a beautiful way to honor the gifts you've been given. 🎉
If it's been sooooo long that you're unsure of what truly ignites your passion, take a trip back to your childhood. What did you do all the time? What captivated your attention completely?
When I reflected, singing - was another one of mine. I sang endlessly as a kid (and let's be honest, not exactly Beyoncé-level talent 😉). Maybe because I wasn't hitting those high notes perfectly, I didn't really bring that passion into my adult life for many years. Now, in what I can only describe as another divine intervention story – it truly feels like God's plan – I'm regularly singing as part of the Worship team at my Church. It brings an unexpected level of joy and peace, a gift I wouldn't have discovered if I hadn't reflected and remembered what my heart truly yearned for. I'm still no Beyoncé, but I believe the simple act of offering that gift pleases Him – and I can feel Him working in me because of it. 🥰
We often lead with our brains, but try listening to your heart... and see what surfaces. 🙏 🎉 ☀️ ⭐
